Working as an Assistant stylist

Our Assistant Stylists often join us without any specific grooming experience. But we take their passion for pets, customer focus and their enthusiasm to learn, and give them everything else they need to earn expertise and qualifications.

Guided and supported by your Salon Manager, you’ll learn not only high standards of grooming, but also how to exceed our customers’ expectations by delivering an exceptional experience, from a warm welcome, expert assessment and listening approach, to appropriate advice, a suitable solution and sincere farewell.

To begin with, you’ll be shown how to bath and brush pets, ready for their appointment with the Stylist or Salon Manager. Then you can take advantage of the many in-house training courses we offer to grow your skills and expertise.

Throughout, you’ll work as part of the team, taking care of salon presentation, cleanliness, safety and housekeeping.

It’s an interesting role in an environment where the emphasis is on fun.
